Amazing food. Great service. And great location. I recommend anything with the chicken!

I've been hearing nothing but great things about this place for years + I finally made it over to try it for myself. Let me tell you to RUN, not walk to this place!!! Omg, it was so freaking good! My first time I went I tried the half + half plate with the waygu beef + chicken shawarma. The second time I got the chicken cream chop plate. The shawarma meats were so flavorful + tender. The friend chicken was breaded + fried to perfection. The lemon garlic paste/sauce is absolutely to die for! I will say I've had better pita bread before, but that's literally the only "negative" thing I have to say. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! I went to the food truck both times but I'm excited to try the La Mesa location soon. Those cheesesteaks look amazing!

Wow, wow, wow~~flavor town and what a delicious surprise! Today, finally I tried the Shawarma Guys. I ordered the wagyu plate and got an order of the beef rolls. Omg, taste-sensation! The beef rolls have parsely, a lemony flavor, fine-diced onion so much going on with the garlic sauce! These are incredible. The rice alone that comes with the beef shawarma plate is sensational. Holy! I am blown away. Five Stars!!! My only comment would be that the beef in the wagyu plate was a little too well done. Should have been on the rare side. Next time I'll make that request. Second, I would suggest using flat - leaf parsley.

I ordered the falafel plate. It came with 6 large falafel. I think it was the best falafel I've ever had. I think more of the garlic sauce on it would have been nice, but I enjoyed the hummus and red spice dipping sauce provided. The side salad was excellent flavor-wise. The pita bread was average. I think there is room for improvement on that. Overall, this was a very tasty meal and I'm glad I tried this food truck.

Remembered 2020 they were #1 on YELP, so finally made here to try it and guess what? 5 STARS. AsianA was in the TOP 100 places to eat and Shawarma was #1 place to eat in AMERICA. My wife and my sister and her boy friend decided to make a special trip for this place coming from Kentucky. Their Wagyu Beef Shawarma with yellow rice was incredible and tasteful. Chips were great with the hummus. When we get back in town, San Diego will definitely be back.

Great place to visit if you're looking for delicious mediterranean food. My go-to is usually their chicken shawarma plate which comes with rice and chickpea salad. I order extra garlic sauce on the side. their Shawarma fries are also really good. Their food truck is conveniently located in South Park and I usually don't have any trouble finding parking. Service is always friendly and quick.

Food was incredible and well worth the wait at the food truck!! The meat was all cooked to perfection and the seasonings were unique and bountiful! Staff was kind and organized! Even though the food truck was busy, we found parking easily!

I've been craving a pita gyro for a while and I've personally been recommended to check this spot out. It's a food truck that seems to be permanently parked in a parking lot in front of a corner liquor store. There was a girl there to take your order so you didn't have to shout your order into a window on the truck. The gyro was nice and large. It had a very strong garlic taste, which I love but it might be too much for some. They included a little cup of hot sauce as well. They have a couple of standing tables but I think the majority of people will take their food to go. I want to try the fries platter next time. Sounds interesting.

Tried the Wagyu Beef Shawarma Plate the other day. I had really high expectations due to the other reviews. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but not something I would often crave for. Wished they drizzled more of their signature garlic paste on the meat. Service was super quick. We got our order within 5 mins. If I were to return I would just take it back to my car and eat it in the car or take it home to eat. Total 3.5 stars.

This is a simple, no-frills food truck in the South Park neighborhood in San Diego--voted Yelp's Top 100 list! I've been here several times over the years and recently came back, and I love that they have now added vegan options to their menu. Since there is limited seating in the area, I usually order online and pickup. I have mostly tried their plates, they have very generous portions enough for two meals! You can't really go wrong with anything you order on the menu and I have enjoyed everything I have tried here. Their quality and food is always consistent Each of their plates comes with yellow rice, your choice of protein topped with their delectable garlic sauce, a side of hummus and pita bread, and tabouli salad. This time around I ordered the chicken cream chop and I didn't realize until I got home that they had given me the vegan cream chop instead. Their vegan option was delicious and I personally could not tell the difference between their vegan chicken and actual chicken. Their hummus is always incredibly creamy, and I love their tabouli salad! Their pita bread isn't my favorite but the star is really the hummus. I usually reheat their pita bread when I get home to make it even better. If you haven't tried Shawarma Guys yet, you're missing out!
